MCCATT attended the June 15 South End Truck Network Study Public Consultation to hear the latest findings from the City of Ottawa. Read our full summary to explore the survey results, traffic data, and what they could mean for the future of truck traffic in our community.

Manotick Concerned Citizens Against Truck Traffic (MCCATT) leads a strong, community-focused effort, advocating for safer streets with one clear goal: to immediately close the designated truck route through Manotick. This community safety initiative is a public safety priority that transcends partisan politics. The truck traffic concerns pose serious risks to public and pedestrian safety, local businesses, air quality, and the overall character of our community (for more information, please watch our short video). Immediate action is required by the City of Ottawa, and effective solutions are available.

MCCATT is a volunteer-led community organization advocating for safer roads, healthier neighbourhoods, and better transportation solutions for Manotick and the surrounding area.
Together, we're working to ensure our community has a strong voice in shaping its future.
